Ethnographic Accounts on the Legalization of Marijuana in the United States
Ethnographic Accounts on the Legalization of Marijuana in the United States
This project is meant to document the decriminalization of marijuana in the United States by linking a series of interviews with historical and scientific sources. Some of the topics discussed by participants include investment strategies, the War on Drugs, medical and recreational use, and the role money has played in the history of Marijuana in America. The final product will be an ethnographic work called "The RollOut".
This research will explore the range of attitudes and beliefs held by Americans who are in some way affiliated with Cannabis and Marijuana Markets. The experiences and observations of the participants in this ancient, yet novel, market includes investors, users, sellers, growers, researchers, legislators, law enforcement, activists and influencers (to name a few!) who can speak as experts on a particular facet marijuana legalization in the United States.
